"When I firstly started playing volleyball, it was the only thing that mattered to me- I wanted to go into a sports school and I didn’t really care about my education. My mother was quite against that (which I am now really thankful for) and made me go to the American College of Sofia. I’d say that going to that school really changed me and my point of view for life, so when I went into 9th grade I started realizing the amazing opportunity volleyball gives me for having the best education, while doing what I love. I really started working hard for my grades, so I could say that playing and studying in the US became my biggest dream. To me, the USA, as well as Italy and Serbia, has the best players technically-wise and I think that playing there will really help me become my best version as an athlete."
