Martha Anthouli

Class of 2022, OH/OPP, 6’8½” (7’½” wingspan)

DoB: 13 AUG 2004

Leading scorer in Europe (U17 CEV European Championships Qualification Rounds)

Best OP in U16 Balkan Championships (at age 13) U16 & U18 National Team of Greece

EVE 2018-2019: Most Promising Prospect, as voted by attending D1 volleyball coaches

Coaches who have observed Martha during 2017-2018 have been impressed by how coordinated she is. Yuliya Saltsevich, the Soviet legend at 6’6”, much like everyone who has seen Martha, has been speaking highly about her potential and trajectory in this game. Yuliya herself has been working in the grassroots of Russian volleyball with hundreds of girls in Moscow, including talent taller than Martha

Strong academic prospect, interested in veterinary studies. “I would like to pursue a volleyball scholarship and studies in the US because the American educational system can provide for me more than the system we have here in Greece. We all know that the USA is the land of opportunity and the greatest universities and colleges are located there. I believe that in my homeland I wouldn’t be as successful as I would be in America. My dream since I started volleyball has been to become a professional volleyball player, and I don’t think that in Greece I will be able to fulfill my dreams.”
