NCAA COACHES - EUROPEAN VOLLEYBALL EXPOSURE
Some of the top university programs and volleyball coaches from the United States are coming to Athens for a weekend filled with quality experiences and life opportunities for some of the best talent in European volleyball.
NCAA Division I university volleyball programs will partake in the action in Athens, which for the first iteration in January 2018 will feature the best talent in Greek, Balkan, and select European countries' volleyball, with girls born between 1998-2004.
Final Programme
(Note: All local transportation/transfers; hotel accommodations -- minus incidentals; meals, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, will be provided for coaches)
Friday the 12th:
Arrivals/check in at Zafolia hotel, recruiting packets and gear dissemination.
After 8p dinner by the Acropolis for US coaches - Welcome by ACS Athens President and Athletic Director
Saturday the 13th:
Session 1:
Class of 2018 and potential international transfers (girls born 1998-2000)
8:30 - 9:00 (Prospects and court coaches only) Warm-up/practice/familiarization exercises -- Athletic/biometric/reach measurements
9:00 US Coaches get to ACS from Zafolia Hotel on ACS shuttle
9:15 Wash drills, action drills, live play/controlled scrimmage
11:00 wrap-up with Session 1 group
Debrief with US & practice coaches and evaluation items for each player, data input in each player's record.
15' break and rotation to next age group --> Girls born 2001-2s
Session 2:
Classes of 2019-2020
11:00 - 11:15 (Prospects and court coaches only) Warm-up/practice -- measurements.
11:15 - 1:00 Wash drills, live action, controlled scrimmage
1:00 wrap-up with Session 2 group
Debrief - Data input - Lunch/Coffee
Session 3:
Classes of 2021-22-23
1:15 - 1:30 (Prospects and court coaches only) Warm-up/practice -- measurements
1:45 - 3:30 Wash drills, live action, controlled scrimmage
3:30 wrap-up with Session 3 group
Debrief - Data input - Coffee Break
Coaches voting for Sunday matches' roster selections
Optional club matches (see attachment) in the national A1 Women's League or other league(s), with prospects participating; most of them have a start time of 5, 6, or 7p.

9-11:00 Scrimmage -- Best of 3 sets

11:00-1:00 Scrimmage -- Best of 3 sets
Debrief & Lunch break
Session 3:

Debrief, voting for final awards, notes for data input for all players
3:30-4:00 Award ceremony, closing remarks, ACS hosts, sponsors, etc.
Mixer for coaches with club coaches, school officials, and seniors/transfers/parents.
Optional club matches in the A1 Women's League or other league(s), will be arranged.
Dinner
Monday the 15th - MLK Day:
Debrief continued if necessary for older groups, reports finalized, coaches meet with seniors/transfers and parents, or check out and travel.
Optional junior club matches (see attachment) in Athens Monday -- Travel elsewhere in the region... Sightseeing in Athens...
Tuesday the 16th:
