New faces of Nomos - Volleyball Fall 2026 Season

As the 2026–2027 volleyball season gets underway, the NOMOS family continues to grow, with another exciting group of athletes beginning their collegiate journeys in the United States. This year, 23 new female athletes will compete in collegiate volleyball, highlighting NOMOS' growing international reach and its commitment to helping athletes turn their ambitions into reality.
For these young women, the opportunity represents far more than simply joining a new volleyball team. It is a chance to compete alongside talented athletes, train under experienced coaches, pursue a high-quality university education, and experience life in a new country, all while continuing to develop in the sport they love.
NOMOS has not only helped connect athletes with universities that match their academic and athletic ambitions, but has also played an instrumental role in securing significant scholarship funding to make these opportunities possible. Over its 17 years of operation, NOMOS has helped its athletes secure more than $87 million in scholarships, including $11,369,351 for the 2026–2027 academic year alone.
These figures reflect the hard work and dedication that goes into finding the right opportunity for every athlete. More importantly, this financial support enables student-athletes to pursue their education and sporting careers while significantly reducing the financial burden on their families. It gives them the opportunity to focus on what matters most: developing as athletes, succeeding academically, and making the most of their university experience.
As the 2026–2027 women's volleyball season begins this August, NOMOS is proud to have new athletes representing countries from across the world, including France, Greece, Italy, Serbia, Türkiye, and the United States. Each athlete arrives with her own culture, experiences, perspective, and volleyball knowledge, bringing something unique to her respective team and university community.
Their journeys demonstrate the remarkable ability of sport to cross borders and bring people together. They also represent something equally important: the opportunity for young women to combine high-level sport with education, personal development, independence, and international experience.
As the newest members of the NOMOS family embark on this next chapter, we are incredibly proud of everything they have already achieved. Behind each opportunity are years of training, sacrifices, difficult decisions, perseverance, and the determination to continue pursuing a dream even when the journey has not been easy.
We wish all 23 of our new student-athletes a season and academic year filled with success, growth, unforgettable experiences, and accomplishments both on and off the court.
And while they may now be beginning their journeys thousands of kilometres from home, they will not be taking those journeys alone. The NOMOS team will be beside them throughout the season, celebrating their successes, supporting them through the challenges, and continuing to guide both the athlete and her family every step of the way.
Good luck to the NOMOS Class of 2026–2027. Your journey is just beginning.
