Greek Volleyball Swarms the United States

Eleven new female student-athletes will be competing in collegiate volleyball in the United States, and the total number of Greek women’s volleyball student-athletes rises to 29.
The women's volleyball championships start this week in the US, and so do the dreams of thousands of girls for a new life on a personal, educational, sport and professional level.
Twenty-nine Greek women - a historic high number - will compete in US volleyball championships, the majority of whom have international experience with their national teams and have managed to get a full athletic scholarship with the support of NOMOS.
Out of these student-athletes, 11 are girls who committed this year to US colleges and universities and they are : Lydia Adam, Evangelia Athanasiadou, Elena Baka, Ioanna Charitonidi, Anastasia Galanou, Ioanna Georgatzi, Ioli Georgakopoulou, Elena Giourda, Elena Leontaridou, Nafsika Papavasileiou, and Zoi Sherolli.
NOMOS, which offers comprehensive consulting on sports law and the regulatory framework for college sports, "builds bridges" between Europe's top sports talent and top US colleges and universities.
NOMOS will monitor the season, highlight the efforts of all Greek women athletes, and will be by their side.
Most athletes took part in NOMOS' programs and the top-rated European Volleyball Exposure (EVE), a groundbreaking showcase that gathers all the necessary information and data related to the talent scouting required by US university coaches.
Twenty-nine Greek female athletes will compete this upcoming season in 2019 at the collegiate level in the States. The first 11 mentioned will be first-year student-athletes:
