Katherine Lane recently completed her B.S. in Sports Business and Marketing at Saint Louis University. After graduating, she decided to continue her educational career and is currently a One-Year MBA candidate at SLU. Since the age of 5, Katherine has competed in various sports such as softball, basketball and golf. With her passion for sports, she desires to continue to be around athletics in her future career.
While attending SLU for undergrad, Katherine was also a four-year starter for the Saint Louis Billiken Softball team. As a part of the Atlantic 10 Conference, Katherine was a member of the All-Rookie Team as well as a three-time First Team All-Conference selection. Academically, she was a National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Scholar Athlete and a part of the A10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for four years. In the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business, Katherine was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the International Business Honor Society awarded to the top 10% of undergraduate students. Katherine enjoys volunteering for Girls on the Run and SPENSA soccer to help youth athletes reach their potential. During her time at SLU, she also enjoyed being a student-athlete mentor for incoming freshman as they learned to manage the academic and athletic life in college.
Throughout her various experiences, Katherine learned the importance of time management, communication and leadership. She strives to help others in any way she can, which is why coaching is also a big part of her life. She coaches young softball girls and is a mentor to those in the recruiting phase. Katherine is very excited to be a part of the Nomos team in helping athletes achieve their dreams.
